AirAsia ordered 100 A321 neo jets at the Farnborough air show

Malasia's low cost airline AirAsia placed a blockbuster order for 100 single-efficient A321 neo jets 

worth a vast US$12.5 billion at the Farnborough air show. 

The deal said to stand be the biggest deal so far. The air show 

chief executive officer 

Tony Fernandes said 

the A32neo will help to

 meets ongoing strong demand as well as further reducing 

cost per available seat kilometer across the group, 

which will lower air fares.
