EU to establish online screening for visa-free travelers

European plans to establish the online screening for visa-free travelers. If the plan get approval millions of tourists and business people visiting to Europe will have to complete 5 euro ($5.35) online security check before arrival.

The plan system will be able to check people's identity documents and residence details against a variety of EU security and crime database. The executives hopes screening will close the loopholes at its borders for violent militants, criminals and illegal migrants.

The plan would affect 60 countries citizens who can visit European's Schengen area for a short trip without first applying for the visa, including Americans, Japanese and might be Britons too.

It's wait for approval to governments and European Parliament, is intended to be self financing through the application fee. The Commission estimates set-up costs of about 200m euros and 85m running costs.

The scheme would give most people a five-year clearance for multiple trips within a minutes.
